H.E.R.O.’s mission is to maintain a K-12 educational complex in Elderton, Pennsylvania, that offers equitable modern facilities and instructional opportunities for the children of our attendance area, with or without the support of the Armstrong School District.

The Armstong School District  has provided a tentative timeline for the re-opening of Elderton High School. 

The attached facts and figures and supporting documentation have been compiled from Armstrong School District Reports and from the Apollo Ridge School District Impact Projection Information that has been submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education concerning Elderton’s secession effort.
